A deep, dark red garnet casts the Lagrein Riserva ” Castel Ringberg ”. Complex, fruity – spicy aromas bribe in the nose: red berries and plums, dried figs, some chocolate and a lightly smoked note. Variety of grapes: 100% de Lagrein.

Zone: Unique local ” Ringberg ”, located above Lake Kalterer, in the municipality of Kaltern at 350m above sea level. Wine cellar facing southeast.

Soil: Light and sandy soil rich in lime and a little loam of interglacial origin, typical cones of Moran.

Vinification: Mash fermentation of approximately 10 days, followed by acidification. Ripening for 20 months in French oak barrels. Subsequent filling and prolonged storage in the bottle.

Operating Temperature: 16 – 18 ° C.

Food Combination: Excellent with game meat, dark meat and cheese.
